Elle est \u00e9galement directrice du programme de sant\u00e9 maternelle et infantile \u00e0 l\u2019Alberta Children\u2019s\u00a0Hospital Research Institute. La Dre Metcalfe est une \u00e9pid\u00e9miologiste p\u00e9rinatale dont les recherches se concentrent sur l\u2019examen de la mani\u00e8re dont les diff\u00e9rentes expositions et exp\u00e9riences pendant la grossesse peuvent avoir une incidence \u00e0 long terme sur la sant\u00e9 des femmes et des enfants.
